THE TWO FACES OF MITCHELL AND WEBB

starring David Mitchell (1996) and Robert Webb (1995)

19th October to 14th December

David Mitchell and Robert Webb, two medium-sized figures of the small screen, return to the medium in which they were once tiny: the theatre.

Join them for an evening of wondering where the camera is and forgetting to speak up, as they weave character, suspense and comedy just by titting around in front of some painted wood. David and Robert conjure a world inhabited by gritty urban anti-heroes, pantomime space villains and alcoholic snooker commentators (all of whom look a bit like Mark and Jeremy from Peep Show but definitely aren't) and then they make them talk to each other like they're in some crazy play with nowhere near enough actors. Like TV but more exclusive, and infinitely more hassle.

Following the success of their new BBC2 sketch show, THAT MITCHELL AND WEBB LOOK, David and Robert take to the road and the theatres of England in late 2006. James Bachman (1994) also appears.
